It’s been awhile since I last posted, but I haven’t felt like there has been too much to write. I’ve been stuck at home for the most part, passing the days moving between the CPM machine and my ice machine – either in my bed or sitting in my Poäng chair from IKEA. The CPM is moving along well, as I’m now bending at about 70 degrees – just about where I need to be.
On the weekends, I’ve watched lots of football, thanks to ESPN360.com on Saturdays and local TV on Sundays. Last weekend, I ventured out of the apartment on Saturday for some German food in Lincoln Square and for the Broncos game at Riverview Tavern on Sunday. But, this week, I’ve only been out for a few mail trips and some fresh air. Needless to say, I’m getting a little cabin fever, especially since the weather was so great this weekend. I’ll be back next time there’s something worth updating.
Hi Will,
I live in Chicago as well…and came across your blog about your Carticel surgery. I just had my knee scope after xmas and I’m planning to have Carticel done at the end of February. I’ve been stuck in the house and its very annoying but it is nice to hear I’m not the only one. Please keep up your posts as I am very interested in how the healing process continues for you and to get an idea of what I’m getting myself into. Hope you are doing better.
Thanks,
Katie
